My birthday is Januray the 4th, when the Champagne is just finished and the turkey is still being digested. New Year’s Eve is still around the corner but for me, the year starts officially on my birthday and not the 1st of Januray. Every year I write my goals and resolutions (I love doing this exercise, even if I drop my resolutions a few week after. ^^’ ) This year I did it and I have to say that I love what I wrote. I think for the first time I really lay out on the paper what I truly felt and wanted. It feels like more of a manifesto than a goal list but I love it nevertheless.
In 2019 I want to create more beautiful photos of food, drinks and places I’ve seen. I was stocked to see how little I produced in 2018 and I want to change that.
I want 2019 to be full of amazing photos and eat great food. I want to post on my blog about recipes that I like and design brands that I discover. I want to work with great brands, interesting people, and in the end be proud of the work I produce. I want to be active, productive and fill my days with meaningful activities.
On my birthday in 2020 I want to look at all the work I’ve done this year and be darn proud of it: I want to see results that I couldn’t have dreamed of being able to produce.
So mote it be.*
*I felt compelled to make it more witchy at the end because it really felt like a spell to me. 🙂 Maybe it will make it more effective!
Here is to 2019. Cheers!
